Welcome to New Moon Stitches

I started making quilts about 30 years ago after being inspired at a quilt show in Houston. My mother and I began the ritual of attending the Houston quilt show every year.  I quickly fell in love with quilting and have made many quilts over the years including baby quilts, lap quilts, bed quilts, quilted stuffed animals, wall hangings, table runners, and other crafty items.  I make quilts yearly for donation to the Quilts of Valor foundation and also masks to donate to local organizations.

My business is home based in Louisiana and all of the Quilts are made in a smoke-free  and perfume-free home with no cats but 2 adorable hypoallergenic Bichons.

I use 100% cotton material for the tops and the backing of the quilts. Items are quilted by machine.   Most of the Quilts are made to your order, however there are a few quilts available for  purchase on the  Shop Page.

Custom Orders

Each item is custom made, so no two are alike. We’ll work together to choose the colors, fabrics, and design for your quilt.  I piece, quilt, and bind the quilts myself.
